Vanderbilt Country Estates of Ellensburg, Washington

Vanderbilt Country Estates (VCE) of Ellensburg, Washington, is located within the orchard districts of the south hills of the Kittitas Valley in central Washington State. It is an exclusive, upscale, high-class residential development in a unique private rural agricultural setting. Covenants are attached to all land sales to protect the overall quality of the entire development. This residential development features amenities such as a pedestrian and equestrian trail system for the private use of members of VCE. A homeowner association is in place with certain outlined responsibilities, including that of road maintenance.

We have completed the surveying of the trail easements and protective areas that are part of the project and have filed the final map in the first phase area. The protective covenants for the development properties are now in place. We have begun road construction and have completed road access to several lots. We have installed conduit for power and phone to some of the lots that will be available first and existing power and phone lines are adjacent to or very near several other of the lots.

The covenants call for stick-built construction and do not allow for any manufactured, modular or trailer type homes. A minimum square footage is required on site built homes. Contact us for details.

The project is over a large contiguous area and is being designed as an exclusive area. It is a very nice Country Estate project. The Kittitas County Health Department is responsible for approving the perk tests, the soil in our area has generally been good for this purpose. As always it is best to determine approval on a site specific basis through the Health Department. There has been no history of problems with ground water availability for domestic purposes on our property or in its vicinity, the domestic water would be from a well drilled by the purchaser. The parcels receive irrigation water. The parcels start at around three acres in size and sales start in July 2004.

A seasonal stream, small ponds, orchard and other wooded areas are protected and preserved features of the Vanderbilt Country Estates development.
